NeRADEP (Reckless/Aggressive Driver Education Program) is a 12-hour course. It is an advanced defensive driver program which aims to accomplish the following:
- Develop an understanding of what constitutes Aggressive Driving.
- Identify causes of our own Aggressive Driving behavior.
- Develop strategies for stress reduction and anger management in effort to reduce the incidents of Aggressive Driving.
The RADEP Course can be completed either in-person or online through the Southside Virginia ASAP. Both options feature 2 class sessions. There is an 8- hour session and a 4-hour session. Please see the following information to complete enrollment.
OPTION 1. - Online Course Completion:
Click the link provided above to register for the online course. The online course is self-paced and it will save your progress through your participation, allowing you to complete the course as your schedule allows. The cost for the online course is $225.00. Once at the landing page for the online course, follow the information on the right of the page to complete the RADEP course registration. Click PURCHASE RADEP COURSE. Once purchased, you will complete the 12-hour course through two components (8-hour and 4-hour). You will receive a certificate of completion upon completion of the full 12-hour course. You should submit the certificate of completion to the the referring Court. **Make certain you select the Southside Virginia ASAP as the referring ASAP office during your registration.
OPTION 2. - In-Person Course Attendance (12-hours)New Paragraph
If you wish to complete the full 12-hour course in-person, you must complete the forms below. The in-person course is completed by attending class from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on Saturday AND then attending class from 10:00 am -2:00 pm the following Sunday. After submitting the forms, you must remit payment of $125.00 to this office using the payment button found on the home page of this website. In-person classes fill quickly so prompt enrollment is necessary to obtain a seat prior to your return court date. Delayed enrollment will likely prevent you from completing the in-person course prior to the return court date.New Paragraph
